Position: Trimmer Trainer-DeSoto, IA

DUTIES

• Provides tree trimming services

• Services provided include pruning treetops, repairing damaged trees by trimming or removal as well as removing broken limbs from wires, roofs, and other objects

• Properly maintain, prepare and operate all tools and equipment including hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts

• Operates as part of a crew with supporting Groundman and Crew Foreman

 

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Must be able to lift 50lbs. without restrictions

• Driver’s license required. Commercial driver’s license preferred and may be required, depending on job requirements

• Completion of Xtreme Tree Ince Tree Trimmer Orientation Program upon hire

• Certificates and Licenses if necessary

• Pesticide license, if required by state law

Full-time hourly position. Compensation will be determined based on qualifications and experience. Position:  Groundsman —DeSoto, IA

DUTIES

• Duties include hauling brush and wood from the tree to the truck, assisting the tree climber, using various hand and power tools, and cleaning the job site.

• Prior experience working in the tree industry or a related field is welcome, but not necessary for this position.

• Operates as part of a crew with supporting Groundman, Trimmers and Crew Foreman
